SIS-PIK COMMUNITY SHOWCASE

WSC GLOBAL ROUND IN BANGKOK

From September 5th to 12th, 28 talented students from SIS-PIK had the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Global Round of the World Scholar’s Cup, held in Bangkok. The event brought together students from around the world to compete in debate, collaborative writing, and knowledge challenges. SIS-PIK students not only represented our school with excellence but also brought home numerous awards and accolades, showcasing their intellectual prowess and teamwork.

Although all our scholar’s achievements are impressive, some of our scholars’ highlights include:

  • Alexandra Kimberly Prasetyo won a trophy for 3rd place for the Cria Scholar.
  • Chen Richelle, Alexandra Kimberly Prasetyo, and Revina Kriston Tay earned team trophies for placing 10th in the Scholar’s Challenge, 11th overall, and 5th in Indonesia.
  • Rodyc Said achieved 1st place overall in Social Science.
  • Shandeline Chloe Sumadi placed 15th overall in Collaborative Writing.
  • Sylvester Octaviano Goana secured 5th overall in the Asimov Challenge.
  • Sheng Liyuan (Cynthia), Fiona Widjaja, and Nicole Thekualu won a team trophy for 4th overall in Collaborative Writing.
  • Nicole Johnson Usman received a trophy for placing 6th overall in the Barely Senior Scholar group.
  • Steve Austin Alfredo, Lewis Hernandez Khoe, and Aslan Franco Wongso earned a team trophy for 10th overall in the Scholar’s Bowl.

These remarkable achievements are a testament to the hard work, determination, and passion of our students. Throughout the competition, they not only demonstrated academic excellence but also embodied the values of collaboration, critical thinking, and cultural understanding. The entire SIS-PIK community is incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the way they represented our school on a global stage.

In addition to the scholars’ impressive academic achievements, Gwyneth So and Shandeline Chloe Sumadi showcased their powerful singing voices on stage.
