ISTA FILM FESTIVAL
From October 17–19, SIS-PIK had the privilege of hosting the inaugural ISTA FRAME Film Workshop, a groundbreaking event that brought together creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange through the art of film.
ISTA (the International School Theatre Association) is an organisation dedicated to fostering global learning through the arts — including theatre, dance, and storytelling. Known for its international festivals, workshops, and professional development programmes, ISTA chose SIS-PIK as the launch site for its very first film-focused workshop.
Over three inspiring days, students from SIS-PIK collaborated with peers, educators, and artists from Korea, Germany, India, and the United States. Together, they engaged in intensive film skills sessions, creative exercises, and a culminating mini-festival that celebrated their shared passion for storytelling.
The workshop was proudly hosted by Mr Valantis Stamelos and Ms Leanne Kingston, who welcomed ISTA representative Revati Khattar and esteemed workshop leaders Lindsay Home and Michael Coleman. Their combined expertise and enthusiasm made the experience an unforgettable milestone for our school’s growing arts community.
