STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS AND COMPETITIONS

Indonesia Ice Skating Open (IISO) 2026
Congratulations to Aria Frances Wongso G3B, Jenall Jaslyn Ally Shomari G5A, and Hailee Chandra G6B on their outstanding ice skating achievements at the IISO 2026, held at BX Rink, South Tangerang, from 5-8 February 2026.
Aria competed in five categories and earning 5 medals in the following events:

  • Gold Fiesta Jump, Freestyle Level 7
  • Gold Master Spin
  • Gold Jump & Spin
  • Gold Open Shorts Freestyle
  • Silver Open Freestyle

Jaslyn competed in four categories and earning 4 medals in the following events:

  • 1st Place in Fiesta Jump, Freestyle Level 3
  • 2nd Place in Bronze Open Freestyle 
  • 3rd Place in Freestyle 3
  • 1st Place in Char. Spot. Freestyle Level 3

Hailee competed in two categories and earning 2 medals in the following events:

  • 2nd Place in Solo Comp. Gamma
  • 3rd Place in Solo Gamma

WoSaMaC (World Sakamoto Mathematics Championship) 2026 – National Round
Congratulations to all students who took part in the WoSaMaC Competition and brought home awards. We are very proud of you!

BABEL 48 INTERNATIONAL FILM COMPETITON

This January, Grade 11 and 12 Film students from the IB Film and BTEC Creative Media programmes took part in the biggest international student film competition across Asia: Babel 48. Led by our film teachers, Mr Valantis and Ms Leanne, the student teams fully conceived and produced three films, 3-minutes each, within a 48-hour time period. The productions were held on both the SIS-PIK campus and PIK 2 Batavia locations.

These films have gone on to be nominated for the international competition and the audience choice awards: Defeated, Don’t Lose Yourself, and The Virus.

Grade 12 students involved are Weila Ann Fortus Gao, Darren Nicholas Alin, Jennifer Grace Widodo, Sergio Krey, Chavella Prescovia Kemsky, Lindt Valerie, and Vivienne Augustine Lim.

Grade 11 students involved were Emily Gunawan, Catherine Nicole, Callista Rose Pangestu, Vincent Lie, Dominique Macarena Andaur Canales, Michelle Belvia, Jovin Benedicto, Jadence Vincentius Toha, Rasya Nitiyudo Wachyo, and Vincent Koharjaya.

Winners will be announced in Hong Kong at the 3rd Babel Film Awards on March 21st, 2026! We congratulate the students and teachers who’ve participated and wish the Finalists good luck.
