DR DAN’S DIARY
Dear SIS-PIK Families,

Whilst many students and families have been intensely focused on the Semester Assessments over the past month, I’m so pleased that there were also many other fantastic events during this time. Semester Assessments show academic achievement, and I congratulate all of our students, wherever they find their passion and strength. However, as this Community Showcase proves, achievements come in many forms, and there are so many to celebrate this month.
It was a real pleasure to meet so many mothers at our annual Mother’s Day Tea, and I struggle to know which makes me more proud. Seeing mothers and children enjoy flower arranging together, the wonderful performances on stage, or the fact that the whole event is run with immense detail by our Primary prefects – displaying impressive leadership skills.
The end of the year also means saying goodbye to our Grade 12 students, and their Graduation Ceremony was a heartfelt evening. Whilst they leave SIS-PIK as graduates, they will always be a part of the SIS-PIK family and I look forward to seeing their achievements as they go to universities in Indonesia and across the world.
I wish all of our community a wonderful holiday ahead.
Warm regards,
Dr Dan
