Babel 48 International Film Competition
In March, the Babel 48 International Film Competition took place in Hong Kong, with nominated films from all across Asia’s top international schools. We are proud to announce that SIS-PIK was nominated for 3 awards, and a Winner of the 2nd Runner Up for the film The Virus.
The film was directed by Vincent Koharjaya, with a production team including Lindt Valerie, Callista Rose Pangestu, Darren Nicholas Alin, and Dominique Macarena Andaur Canales.
The two other films were: Defeated, directed by Chavella Prescovia Kemsky, and produced by Vivienne Augustine Lim, Rasya Nitiyudo Wachyo, Sergio Krey, Catherine Nicole and Jadence Vincentius Toha, and Don’t Lose Yourself, directed by Weila Ann Fortus Gao and Emily Gunawan, produced by Michelle Belvia, Jennifer Grace Widodo, Vincent Lie, and Jovin Benedicto.
The festival was directed and managed through the leadership of SIS-PIK’s IB Film teacher Mr Valantis and our BTEC Creative Media teacher Ms Leanne.

Jakarta Stage Music & Performing Arts Competition
We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students at the recent Jakarta Stage Music and Performing Arts Competition, where their dedication and artistry took centre stage. Huge congratulations to Frans Ansel Hsu (Grade 4) for his first place in Singing Performance, and to Rickson Cheok (Grade 10) for his first place in Piano Performance. These awards are a testament to their hard work, discipline, and the creative spirit we strive to nurture within our community. We couldn’t be prouder to see such talent representing us on the big stage!


K-O’Clock Dance Competition, 11 April 2026, Mall Alam Sutera
We’re also delighted to announce that Jenilyn Foreson Tunggono, Grade 8, and her dance group, J.Art from Jakarta School of Art, proudly won 3rd place at the K-O’Clock Dance Competition. Well done!
