September is set to be an exciting and busy month as we move towards the end of Term 1!

We begin with High School Languages Week (1st – 4th September), a celebration of English, Chinese, and Bahasa Indonesia language and literature. On 4th September, Grade 1 and Preschool parents are invited to meet teachers for the first Parent–Teacher Conferences, a chance to see how children are settling into school. This is followed by a public holiday on 5th September for Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday.

Our new popular High School Community Conversations webinars continue with parents on 9th and 16th September, while university pathways come into focus with the SAT Round 1 testing on 13th September. 

In preparation for the week of High School learning journeys, an online Parent Learning Journey Information Meeting will also take place on 16th September.

From 22nd – 25th September, our High School Learning Journeys take students across Indonesia:

• Grade 7: Lembang, Bandung
• Grade 8: Solo (Surakarta)
• Grade 9: Yogyakarta
• Grade 10: Surabaya & Malang
• Grades 11 & 12: Labuan Bajo

We look forward to sharing all the exciting activities and memories made in our next Community Showcase!

At the same time, Grade 5 students will complete their ANBK Assessments on 22nd and 23rd September.

The term concludes with our much-anticipated Teachers’ Day Celebration on 26th September, led by our prefect team – a joyful way to recognise the dedication of our teachers. This also marks the last day of Term 1.

We wish all families a restful holiday, and look forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of Term 2 on Monday, 6th October.
