August 2026

COMING UP

As we move towards the end of August and into September, there is plenty happening across SIS-PIK. We begin with our Open House on Saturday, 29 August, when we look forward to welcoming prospective families to discover our school. On the same day, our teaching and non-teaching staff will take part in a Professional Development Day focused on making SIS-PIK more environmentally sustainable.

September brings a busy programme of opportunities for students and parents. On Tuesday, 1 September, our High School Community Conversation will provide an overview of the curriculum, followed by Preschool and Grade 1 Parent-Teacher Conferences on Friday, 4 September.

Our High School Community Conversations continue throughout the month, with Meet our Pastoral Team – Standards & Support on Tuesday, 8 September, Kognity for Learning: Innovation at SIS-PIK on Tuesday, 15 September, and Learning Journey Preparation and Information on Tuesday, 22 September.

We are particularly looking forward to the SIS Games from Wednesday, 16 to Saturday, 19 September, bringing together students from across all the SIS schools for four days of sport, competition and community. We will also celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival on Thursday, 24 September, from 5:00-7:30 p.m.

Finally, our High School students will embark on their Learning Journeys from Tuesday, 29 September to Friday, 2 October, providing valuable opportunities to learn, explore and grow beyond the classroom.

It promises to be another exciting month at SIS-PIK, filled with learning, connection, celebration and opportunity.
