We are delighted to welcome Ms Kate Burden to our Senior Leadership Team as our new Head of Preschool and Primary at SIS-PIK. 

Ms Kate brings with her over 25 years of experience in the international academic sector, including as Academic Director for EF Education in China and the UK, a Head of English and Primary school teacher in schools in Shanghai and more recently as a Deputy Head in Beijing, an Associate Division Head in Shenzhen, and Deputy Primary Principal at the ISF Academy, a large school in Hong Kong. 

Having originally graduated with a degree in English and Drama from Bristol University, she gained a Master’s in Education in Education Leadership from the Open University in 2020. Ms Kate is very excited to join the SIS-PIK community saying she is ‘delighted to get to know Preschool and Primary children and parents, and is excited about the opportunity to work with our excellent teachers’.
