DR DAN’S DIARY

Dear SIS-PIK Families,
As we move further into Term 3 and reflect on the close of an exceptionally busy and rewarding period, I would like to share a few of my special moments since I last wrote my diary! The end of Term 2 was marked by events that truly captured the spirit of SIS-PIK. Mountain Day was a wonderful reminder of the energy and enthusiasm of our students. From Preschool through Primary, it was a joy to see our children living our Culture Mountain values in action – showing resilience in physical challenges, reciprocity through teamwork, reflectiveness in learning from each activity, and resourcefulness as they adapted and supported one another. The smiles, cheers, and house pride made it a fitting and uplifting way to close the term…

MOUNTAIN DAY

Mountain Day in Preschool was a fun and active event where children enjoyed a variety of games while learning important values such as teamwork, turn-taking, and good sportsmanship. They practiced cheering for friends, trying their best, and celebrating effort rather than just winning…

SIS-PIK Preschool sparkled with festive cheer during our ‘Christmas Adventure’ as students joyfully sang and danced to Christmas songs in their colourful festive costumes. Our K2 students took centre stage as enthusiastic MCs, guiding the celebration with Christmas spirit….

Coming Up

As always, there are a number of key events happening over the next month, with February culminating in perhaps the highlight of our annual Calendar – our huge Chinese New Year Celebrations. We look forward to seeing all our families at this event.
31st January – Primary Prefects’ Leadership Day: rescheduled due to bad weather, on this day our Primary Prefects enjoy training in the skills of leadership through challenging and fun activities.
6th February – Production House Field Trip: Our Grade 10 to 12 Creative Media & IB Film students experience film production in the real world, supporting their studies…
