MOTHER’S DAY TEA
SIS-PIK once again celebrated Mother’s Day on Thursday, 7th May 2026, with the heartfelt theme, “A Garden of Love: Created Together.” The event was thoughtfully organised and prepared by the Primary prefects under the guidance of Mr Abdul.
A total of 86 mothers from Grade 1 to Grade 6 signed up to take part in the celebration. The programme began at 2.30 p.m. with warm opening remarks from Dr Dan and Ms Jun, who welcomed the parents as they sat happily with their children.
This was followed by delightful singing and ballet performances by the Preschool students. Soon after, the Primary ballet dancers and the Dance CCA showcased their talents and filled the afternoon with energy and joy.
Frans from G4B gave a heartfelt singing performance that added a special touch to the celebration. His song created a warm atmosphere and made the moment even more meaningful for everyone present.
The most anticipated part of the programme was the flower-arranging activity, led by Ms Benilda, who demonstrated how to arrange the flowers. Mothers and their children then worked together to create beautiful fresh flower arrangements. The mothers joined the activity with great enthusiasm, and the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments shared between parent and child.
The purpose of the celebration was to honour mothers for their hard work, sacrifices, and the unconditional love and care they continually shower upon their children. More than just an event, it became a beautiful reminder of the special bond between mothers and their children.
The celebration left an indelible mark on everyone present – mothers, students, and teachers alike – and created memories that will be treasured for years to come.
To all mothers, we wish you a joyful Mother’s Day and all the love, happiness, and blessings you so deeply deserve.
