MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL
Moonlight Over SIS-PIK, Love in the Mid-Autumn Night
To help students learn about and experience Chinese culture, strengthen community bonds, and showcase their talents, SIS-PIK held a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration on the evening of October 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on the school field. This year’s theme was “Moonlight Over SIS-PIK, Love in the Mid-Autumn Night”.
Teachers, parents, and students gathered together to celebrate this special occasion. The event began with a warm opening speech and a lantern-lighting ceremony led by our Head of School, Dr Dan, followed by a series of wonderful performances by both students and teachers — including musical performances, dances, and short plays that brought freshness and excitement to the evening.
The event venue was beautifully decorated with handcrafted lanterns, fans, umbrellas, and ornaments made by High School students, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere. Guests also enjoyed tasting traditional mooncakes and fragrant tea. The four High School houses hosted a lively charity bazaar offering various foods and drinks, adding to the celebratory spirit.
A nice designed photo booth allowed everyone to capture joyful moments and lasting memories. The celebration concluded happily at 7:00 p.m., marking a heart-warming and memorable Mid-Autumn evening for the SIS-PIK community.
