Dear SIS-PIK Families,
September has been a month filled with learning, care, and community spirit at SIS-PIK.
One of the most important highlights was our Vaccination Programme for Grades 1-2 and Grades 5-6. In cooperation with the Penjaringan District Health Centre (Puskesmas Kecamatan Penjaringan), our students received their vaccinations as part of a wider government initiative. It is always a priority for us to promote the health and wellbeing of our young people, and we are proud to play our part in supporting this essential public health programme….


IGCSE AND BTEC CELEBRATION
The IGCSE & BTEC Celebration 2025 took place on Thursday, 28 August 2025, at the MPH, SIS-PIK, honouring the outstanding achievements of students across a wide range of academic disciplines. The event recognised success in IGCSE subjects including languages (English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Chinese Language), humanities (Economics and English Literature), sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), mathematics (Additional and Extended), and technical fields (Computer Science, Business Studies, and Global Perspectives). VACCINATION PROGRAMME
SIS-PIK recently organised a vaccination programme for Grades 1-2 and Grades 5-6 students in cooperation with the government through the Penjaringan District Health Center (Puskesmas Kecamatan Penjaringan). HS LANGUAGES WEEK
During September students took part in a range of interesting language activities to celebrate our trilingual community. At the end of the week students voted to choose their favourite new vocabulary. The winning vocabulary was the English word ‘discombobulated’…
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY
On Saturday 30th August, our teachers came together for Professional Development Day, with a focus on strengthening support for all learners at SIS-PIK.
The EAL session was led by Mr Hiro, whose fluency in English, Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, and Japanese gave him a unique perspective on language acquisition.
