On Saturday 30th August, our teachers came together for Professional Development Day, with a focus on strengthening support for all learners at SIS-PIK.

The EAL session was led by Mr Hiro, whose fluency in English, Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, and Japanese gave him a unique perspective on language acquisition. He shared practical strategies to help students build confidence and proficiency in English, while also celebrating the value of multilingualism.

The SEND session was delivered by Ms Lia, who works in close conjunction with our Emotional and Wellbeing Counsellor, Ms Levi. Together, they emphasised how academic and emotional support must go hand in hand to ensure every student is able to thrive.

It was a productive and inspiring morning of learning, reflecting our community’s deep commitment to meeting the needs of every child.
