On 29 August 2026, SISwa Cares held an Independence Day celebration with the children of Yayasan Al-Hijrah. The event was filled with laughter, learning and shared experiences, as our student volunteers spent time with the children and took part in a range of activities and competitions.

We would like to sincerely thank the SIS-PIK community for their generous donations, which enabled SISwa Cares to provide goodie bags, lunch and prizes for the children. Thanks to the generosity of our community and the surplus of donations received, we were also able to extend our support beyond the event.

SISwa Cares was grateful to provide assistance to 15 children with leukaemia from Yayasan Sehati Anak Indonesia through the Program Bantuan Obat Mercaptopurine (6MP), supporting families with limited financial resources in meeting their medication needs.

The event also marked the end of the 2025-2026 SISwa Cares leadership team’s term of office. We would like to thank all our leaders, Heads of Departments and members for their time, energy and commitment throughout the year.

As the new 2026-2027 team begins its term, SISwa Cares looks forward to building on the work of the previous team and finding new ways to make a positive and lasting contribution to our community.
