UNBK REPLACED BY NATIONAL ASSESSMENT (AN)
We would like to inform parents that the implementation of the Computer-Based National Examination (UNBK / Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer) is replaced by National Assessment (AN / Asesmen Nasional). The National Assessment (AN) will no longer be held in the final grade at each level which are sixth grade (Primary 6), ninth grade (Secondary 3), and twelfth grade (JC2). It will now be held in the fifth grade (Primary 5), eighth grade (Secondary 2), and eleventh grade (JC1).
This National Assessment (AN) is in line with the Regulation of the Minister of Education No. 31/2014 article 13 paragraph 2 “SPK is obliged to hold a National Examination for Indonesian students”. Therefore, Singapore School, Pantai Indah Kapuk (SIS-PIK) is obliged to follow the rules and regulations that apply. Starting from the 2020/2021 school year, all students are required to take the National Assessment (AN). Students will then receive a National Assessment (AN) certificate and a Certificate of Completion (STTB – Surat Tanda Tamat Belajar) when they complete their studies in the final grade.
The National Assessment (AN) consists of 3 main instruments, they are:
- The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM – Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum)
This assessment measures students’ reading literacy and numeracy with a low stake level of difficulties type of questions. - Character Survey
This assessment measures attitudes, values, beliefs, and habits that reflect students’ character. - Learning Environment Survey
This assessment measures the quality of the teaching and learning process at the school level.
The implementation schedule of the National Assessment (AN) is planned to take place in:
- First week of March 2021 – Grade JC 1
- Third week of March 2021 – Grade Secondary 2
- August 2021 – Grade Primary 5 (students that currently in Primary 4 this academic year)
That would be all that we can inform you regarding updates to the National Assessment (AN) 2020/2021.
Thank you.
