SCHOOL REOPENING IN JULY 2021
On July 19th 2021, we will open our hybrid program. This will include both face-to-face learning as well as our well established virtual learning program. Parents may choose to continue with the virtual learning program if it makes them feel more comfortable.
We will provide more updates on our reopening procedures in each Community Update. For this week, we want to share information regarding our COVID committee.
Each week our COVID COMMITTEE meets to evaluate our COVID-19 protocols, troubleshoot any critical problems, and to implement improvements. Our COVID-19 protocols will be dynamic and will adjust constantly to take into account changing COVID conditions.
Our COVID COMMITTEE will report back to our SIS-PIK Leadership Team every week with an overview of;
- Update on COVID conditions at SIS-PIK and in Jakarta overall
- Evaluation of current COVID-19 protocols. Are they effective?
- Proposed improvements to COVID-19 protocols. How can we improve?
Mr Felix will be leading the committee, and will be reporting directly to the Head Teacher and Leadership Team. The purpose of the committee is to ensure we are constantly reflecting on what we do, and search for ways to improve. We aspire to be better tomorrow than what we are today.
