JC1 PARENTS’ VIRTUAL COFFEE MORNING
On Tuesday 1st September, JC1 parents were invited to join Dr Dan, Ms Callie and Mr Victor for a welcome and introduction to our Junior College Programme. Dr Dan outlined the ethos of our SIS PEAK programme, where our Junior College is the culmination of a students’ school years, making them prepared for whichever university course or career they aspire to. Ms Callie gave a description of our academic programme, which has different pathways so that every student can have a programme tailored to make them succeed. This includes the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and vocational International BTEC courses. Finally Mr Victor, our university guidance counsellor and Life Skills teacher discussed the changing nature of future careers and the advice students will receive over the next two years to help them take their next steps.
