WELLBEING WEEK
Preschool and Primary
From 7-11 November 2022, Preschool and Primary students experienced Wellbeing Week. We kicked off the week by having an assembly on how we can promote overall well-being by getting enough sleep, eating nutritious food, exercising, connecting with our friends and family, practising gratitude and mindfulness and developing healthy habits.
Each day we had different activities. Let’s take a look at what we have done to help our wellbeing:
MINDFUL MONDAY
We had Yoga practice and completed mindfulness colouring activities. Then, our teachers helped us to turn our finished works into bookmarks.
TASTY TUESDAY
We brought nutritious snacks and lunch from home. The best way to get all of the vitamins, minerals and nutrients you need is to eat a variety of colourful fruits and veggies.
WORKOUT WEDNESDAY
We completed a workout activity in the morning to keep us fit, active and healthy.
THANKFUL THURSDAY
We wrote thank you notes for people around us as we feel very grateful for all the wonderful people and things in our lives.
FAMILY FRIDAY
We shared different activities we planned to do with our families during the weekend. After a busy week at school, we can’t wait to spend quality time with our loved ones.
High School
Our High School wellbeing programme was designed to give students both emotional and practical support as they prepare for their upcoming Semester Assessments.
All High School students experienced an assembly and workshop to learn how the ‘Pomodoro Technique’ can help them better maximise their time and organise their revision load. Some guidance on how to practise this technique can be found here
Grade 12 students completed an ‘Energy Line’ to help them better organise and prioritise upcoming deadlines.
